Lydia & Israel

Our story began on Friday, July 24, 2015, in Ethiopia. We could never have imagined that one meeting would become the beginning of a journey lasting almost eleven years.

Life eventually placed an ocean between us — Lydia in America and Israel in Ethiopia — but distance never separated our hearts. Through the years, communication became part of our everyday life. Almost every day began and ended with each other: a call when we woke up and another before going to sleep, often speaking at least twice a day no matter how busy life became.

We did not simply fall in love; we grew together. We learned together, dreamed together, encouraged one another, faced challenges together, and built our future side by side.

From humble beginnings, we worked together to build our business from zero to hero, always believing that greater things were ahead. Lydia’s loving heart and intelligence continue to inspire Israel, while their friendship, trust, and commitment have grown stronger year after year.

The road has been long, but beautiful. There have been thousands of calls, countless prayers, many moments of waiting, and so much growth along the way. Through every step, God has been good to us — guiding us, strengthening us, helping us, and opening the way forward.

Today, we are grateful, joyful, and excited to begin the next chapter of our lives as husband and wife. We came a long way, we grew together, we built together, and by God’s grace, we made it here.
